Details:
The manager of the Spa will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the Spa. He/she needs to strive to maintain and motivate the entire Spa team and create a culture of care and service excellence among employees. She/he needs to also develop and implement Spa operational goals, policies, and procedures. Additionally, he/she is responsible for leading efficient and effective Spa operations including short and long-term strategic planning.

Prerequisites:
•    Passionate about the Spa and Fitness world.
•    Willing to deliver the best service and experience to customers
•    strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential.
•    Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
•    Strong working knowledge of Spa, Membership, and recreational software.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or  Degree / Diploma in hotel/hospitality management or equivalent or the equivalent experience.
Nutritionist - B.Sc. in Nutrition and Dietetics/anything equating to this

Experience:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience as a Spa Manager preferably in a luxury hotel/Salon or a well-established Spa brand.

Spa Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
For the customer
1.    To be and set an example of sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
2.    Ensure all dealings with guests at the spa meet or exceed international spa operating standards.
3.    Ensure the health and safety of guests and employees are paramount at all times and the spa manager is well equipped to handle all emergencies related to the same such as health, emergency, hygiene and fire emergencies
4.    Able to analyse and interpret the needs of clients and offer appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions – this includes guest complaints and quick and professional resolution as well as any special requirements
5.    Be the single point of contact for Dignitaries, VIP and VVIP guests and co-ordinate their Spa experience. Show Less

Recommending and administering facials, massages,  treatments to customers.
Advising Spa clients and customers on suitable treatments and answering common questions
Administering professional, relaxing, and therapeutic facials, massage, and  treatments to guests.
Thoroughly cleansing and analyzing guest’s skin type and condition
Providing beauty therapy treatments, body treatments, beauty products, and make up, beauty treatments and services,


recommending suitable home care programs they can continue with
Maintaining cleanliness of workstation and treatment room throughout the day

Assisting with opening and closing duties of the Health salon as needed

TYPICAL WORKING HOURS
The working hours in the beauty therapy industry are average, with most full-time employees from  10am to 7.30pm

Working in a clinic you can expect to commit to a regular schedule of working hours. Of course outside of these hours you are free to enjoy a wealth of adventure and travel opportunities that comes with the clinic.

BEAUTY THERAPIST ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For a successful career in shasha skin and hair clinic, you must be a qualified, experienced  beauty therapist. Freshers are also welcome. The ideal job applicant should also have the necessary skills and passion for providing great service.


To join our Spa Team you are required to have completed a recognised beauty Therapy course. Your qualification in beauty therapy should be certified by at least one
