Our Spa Therapists are the cornerstone of Wellness Retreat, responsible alongside our supervisors, for upholding the utmost levels of quality and professionalism across all operational aspects.

Your role is pivotal in ensuring that all treatments provided meet the highest standards of execution, hygiene, and performance, in alignment with wellness ethos.

What Will Be Your Main Responsibilities?
Conducting massages, facial and body treatments (peels, wraps, etc.) following protocols, in accordance with our diverse treatment offerings.
Adhering strictly to wellness standards.
Executing job tasks with meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and precision.
Collaborating seamlessly with colleagues as an integral part of our team.
Safeguarding the confidentiality of guest information and pertinent resort data.
Maintaining, inspecting, and ensuring the upkeep of all treatment materials, equipment, products, and cleanliness standards within treatment areas.
Managing product inventory levels effectively and utilizing resources efficiently, adhering strictly to recommended usage guidelines.
Participating in events and training sessions as required.
Upholding a high standard of personal care and hygiene.
Ensuring adequate supply storage in treatment cabins, including oils, products, consumables, and materials utilized during treatments.
Consistently implementing established service protocols.
Adhering to guidelines for the preparation, presentation, and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
Addressing guest concerns or inquiries regarding treatments promptly and courteously.
Gathering guest feedback on therapies and communicating findings to management.

What Should You Bring?
Training in Holistic Cosmetics and Wellness therapies, especially those using raw organic, natural ingredients.
Training in various different Massage Therapies
Ability to work in EU although full paperwork will be done by the company
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hotel spa.
Proficiency in English is essential.
References at least 2 from recent employers.
Knowledge of the latest wellness treatments and equipment.
Strong customer focus, meticulousness, and approachability.

Salary Conditions (Base Salary, Commission, Incentives)
Salary range of €800 to €1000 net per month depending on experience and level of skill.

What we are looking for in a Spa Therapist:

- Fluent in English

- Preferably from South East Asia

- Must have valuable knowledge and experience regarding the
  Spa/Beauty industry

- Must be qualified as a massage therapist and very capable/experienced in body treatments such as: a wide variety of massages, body scrubs, body wraps & facials.

- Being qualified and confident in other treatments such as , Manicure/Pedicure, waxing, threading, lash & brow, would be highly advantageous to any applicant and preferred, but not necessary. If not qualified for these treatments, applicants must be willing and enthusiastic to learn.

- Must be willing to share his/her knowledge with colleagues.
- Must be willing to learn new treatments and equipment.

- Applicants must be well-groomed/hygienic, courteous/friendly, professional, hard-working, a dynamic team player and passionate about their work.

- Retail & reception experience is advantageous, but not necessary.

-Must have great client relations experience

Your duties as one of our massage therapists will include providing high quality consultation and treatments for our guests, cleanliness of the spa, organizing bookings, maintaining the spa’s balance sheet and providing monthly stock takes of products. Massages are the most popular treatments but we offer scrubs and facials (all negotiable depending the successful applicants skills.)

Hours of work & holiday:
This is dependent on guest requirements; on weekends we are always busy which would mean the spa is busy, however during the week we tend to be more quiet which means you will have more free time. Some hours outside of the spa may be required to help the resort run smoothly including light hostess role during the evenings to soft sell treatments.

You will get a minimum of 4 consecutive day’s holiday per month where you can stay on the island or head off for a few days and experience the local areas or the neighbouring countries.
