Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receptionist/Wellness Concierge to join our team at this Wellness Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of wellness services and ensuring an exceptional experience for our members and guests. As a Receptionist/Wellness Concierge, you will handle inquiries related to wellness programmes, assist with bookings, and maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for services, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and attention to detail.
Anticipate and fulfil guest preferences and requirements, from arranging special requests to ensuring that personal preferences are met throughout their stay.
Provide personalised services such as packing and unpacking, and laundry ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.
Collaborate with housekeeping, room service, and other departments to ensure that guest needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Respect and uphold guest privacy and confidentiality at all times, handling sensitive information with discretion.
Address and resolve any guest complaints or issues with professionalism and tact, aiming to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
Continuously monitor and enhance guest comfort, making adjustments as needed to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay
Requirements
Proven experience in a receptionist or concierge role, preferably in a wellness or hospitality environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using booking and management software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of wellness practices, services, and trends is an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel environment and/or a Forbes Travel Guide-rated establishment is preferred.
A minimum of 2 years' experience in the same position is required.
Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
