Spa is a beautifully designed salon specializing in acrylic/gel nails, manicure, pedicure and offering additional services such as lash extension, facials, and waxing.
Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent

Job Description:
•    Clean, trim and polish nails
•    Provide gel and acrylic nail extensions
•    Nail art technics
•    Sell establishments products
•    Schedule and confirm appointments
•    Perform cashiering duties
•    Keep tools clean
•    Recommending colours and designs
•    Keep up to date with new trends

Requirements:
-    Completion of high school, college or beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, and/or manicurists and pedicurists is required.
-    Experience as a Nail Care Technician is a strong asset. On-the-job training will be provided.
-    Personal Suitability: Judgement, Organized, Accurate, Excellent oral communication, Initiative, Team player, Reliability, Interpersonal awareness, Flexibility, Client focus, Dependability, Effective interpersonal skills.
-    Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Hand-eye co-ordination.
-    Work Site Environment: Odours
-    Language: English is required

Salary: $26.44 hourly, 36.50 to 40 Hours per week.

Benefits: Gratuities, Commission, accommodation is available at a discounted rate and travel expenses are paid by the employer if the worker needs to relocate.

Important Information:
Work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 AM to 17:30 AM. Flexibility in schedule is required: availability according to clients’ appointments. Overtime may be required.

Requirements will be:

-Proven work experience as a Nail Technician, Manicurist or similar role
-Expertise in basic and advanced nail techniques, including french manicures, airbrushing and gel manicures
-Knowing how to remove gel polish.
-Understanding of sanitation and sterilization standards
-Experience in customer service
-High school diploma
-Certification in Cosmetology or Nail Art is a plus !!
