This luxury brand of Hotels & Resorts is currently seeking to recruit a Spa Manager responsible for the smooth running of the SPA of TWO of their hotels.

Working according to the core values and operational standards of our brand, the role of the Spa Manager is critical to the success of the SPAs. This position requires strong, clear and consistent leadership with a focus on guest service and experience, sales and maximization of revenue. The Spa Manager is responsible for the daily leadership of the spa operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Demonstrate sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
Develop and implement Spa goals, policies and procedures.
Responsible for leading the efficient and effective Spa operations including short- and long-term strategic planning.
Assist in the achievement of financial goals in revenue, expenses and profit.
Maintain pricing integrity and Spa standards.
Anticipate, identify and ensure customer needs are being met in the best possible way.
Promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
Produce annual marketing plan in conjunction with the Hotel.
Identify new business and marketing opportunities.
Promote and sell customized spa programs
Manage, train, and motivate all spa employees.
Perform department annual employee performance development plans.
Promote teamwork and foster a harmonious working environment.
Prepare spa staff schedules, while maintaining the standards of service and controlling the payroll.
Maintain thorough knowledge of competitors, including location, product offering, pricing and promotions, and sales techniques.
Ensure compliance with Hotel policy and procedures.
Establish and maintain a professional business relationship with all vendors.
Ensure equipment and physical facility are in peak condition including cleanliness and repair.
Develop, follow and ensure that all safety and emergency policies, procedures and practices and adhered to.
Stay updated with the new Spa, Fitness & Wellness trends worldwide
Participate in the annual budgeting and forecast process.
Control costs of good purchased, service supplied and labour necessary.
Attend hotel management meetings.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years proven experience in a management position in a spa
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration will be considered as an advantage
Demonstrated strong leadership, team, and communication skills are essential
Proven knowledge of cost analysis, fiscal management, and budgeting techniques
Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner
Ability to lead and direct a multi-faceted team, including coaching and mentoring
Highly organized, goal and results oriented with ability to execute plans and manage change effectively
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships; interact and influence at all levels both within and outside the organization
Proven ability to achieve goals, multi-task and set priorities based on a constantly changing business environment
Effective decision-making capabilities demonstrating sound judgment
Ability to create a culture of innovation and creativity
Detail-oriented, exceptional organizational skills and able to handle multiple priorities under pressure

The job is to be our nail tech and provide manicures and pedicures as well. You will be required to give training to other staff as well. Customer service and product sales. If you have experience with lash extentions and lash/brow tinting/shaping that is a huge advantage.

English fluent is a must. Advantage if you know some norwegian.

Handling all massages as per the hotels operational and treatment standards.
Responsible for all massages and treatment related activities, and for the safety of the guests in the massage room.
Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniform appearance and posture of himself/herself and all personnel involved in the massage room operation.
Spa Therapist Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform opening and closing procedures.
2. Schedule guest appointments.
3. Arrange workstation, treatment room, and drapes, Towels.
4. Helps promoting the massage to the SPA members and guests.
5. Monitor stock levels of oils and creams and ensures that par stock levels are maintained at all times.
6. Provides individualized bodywork treatments that meet the guests needs and expectations.
7. Be thoroughly familiar and able to recommend Spa products and treatments as well as know pertinent Spa information.
8. Obtains the basic medical history for a client, assesses any problems or conditions and suggests appropriate therapy based on current health of client.
9. Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications like any allergies, high blood pressure, and pregnancy before beginning the service.
10. Maintains spa and treatment room appearance, cleanliness according to standard operating procedures.
11. Maintain knowledge of hours of operation, memberships, reservations, fees, treatments, products and merchandise.
12. Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; report shortages to supervisor.
13. Be familiar with all hotel/spa packages, promotions, prices and rates.
14. Ensures that a high standard of service is maintained throughout the spa.
15. Provide massage services to guests using props and/or products.
16. Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment, Also use equipment only as intended.
17. Anticipate guest's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
18. Maintain positive guest relations at all times and maintain client details and confidentiality.
19. Try to resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction and inform the management about any incidents or guest complaints.
20. Handle emergency procedures and report any accidents to your manager and security.
21. Handle inappropriate guest behavior as per the SPA standard operating procedures for inappropriate conduct for guests and therapists.
22. Frequently check with guest to promote comfort, safety and security throughout service.
23. Fill out necessary reports or data at the end of each session.
24. Attend all scheduled meetings, classes and training sessions; knowledge required within the Spa must be passed on to co-workers.
25. Assists with washing and folding of all linens used in treatment rooms.
26. Assists in all areas of recreation and leisure operation as and when required.
