OBJECTIVE
To provide excellent hands-on therapy services and customer service in a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional manner to guests, participating amongst a team that is familiar with and observes all objectives, standards and procedures as provided by the Company.
SCOPE OF THERAPIES
The therapies delivered in this role are:
Massage therapies, facials, body treatments, manicure, pedicure, spa packages and tailor-made treatments provided by Le Mare Spas protocols.
Daily therapy tasks, responsibilities and duties:
Note: Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:
• Ensure 5* quality of service and treatments
• Apply correctly the therapist script, and forms provided by Le Mare Spas
• Ensure the treatment room is fully prepared for the sequential treatment prior to collecting the Guest.
• Welcome Guest to the Spa therapy ensuring they feel comfortable and relaxed
• Discuss the treatment protocol with the Guest and answer any questions and check for any Contra-indications the treatment from and discuss the consultation form
• Ensure the working space is keep clean and orderly through the treatment and prior to the end of the treatment
• Transit guest to the Reception/ Relaxation Area and ensure to have refreshment / offer a tea menu.
• Ensure all forms are competed and signed and given to Spa Reception
• Provide guests with after care and home-care advice and forms (recommendation form)
• Suggest other treatments that may suit the Guests personal and immediate results.
• Offer teas after the treatments
• Stock counts and reporting to the Spa Managers the needs of the spa necessary for performing the services.
• Achieve sales targets
• Actively promote spa services, recommendations and retail products
• Assist with stock inventory when requested.
• Prepare daily cashier reports and end of the day report generated by the software.
• Send daily email (when on duty for closing the Spa) with next day bookings, financial report and data to Le Mare Spas accounting department.
• Hand over sales cash and invoicing to the Hotel (when on duty for closing the Spa).
• Actively input bookings in the Spa software (when covering Reception).
• Actively take bookings in the booklet diary, in the spa software, provide booking appointment slip, consultation forms, review forms, prescription forms and other sales and marketing materials as directed by the Spa Manager/ Supervisor (when covering Reception).
Operational, general tasks and duties:
Note: Specific tasks may include but are not limited to:
• Checking for general presentation of the spa and refill towels in the spa treatments rooms, refreshments, check the changing rooms, regularly assist with promotions during the day as re-quested by the Spa Manager.
• Ensuring that the operational and the maintenance issues are reported to the Spa Manager/ Receptionist on duty and the appropriate action is taken immediately;
• Offering spa tours to all guests entering the Spa.
• Actively participating in promoting the Spa services individually when needed and as a team.
• Assisting the reception when is needed as requested by the spa Manager/ Receptionist.
• Distributing offers at the rooms.
• Apply correctly the opening-closing procedures provided by Le Mare Spas and the Hotel
• Assist where necessary the spa team and Spa Manager
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Assisting the manager whenever appropriate and covering all necessary managerial duties when the manager is not present (see manager job description).
Spa Therapist’s Requirements:
• High school diploma. Hospitality related qualification, will be considered as an advantage
• Proven working experience.
• Detail-orientated and patient.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Effective communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
