Job Summary:
Meraki Wellness is a luxury wellness destination opening in the last quarter of 2025 in Grand Cayman. In partnership with Blowdry Lounge — Canada’s premier blow-out salon, celebrated for its artistry and styling expertise — we are proud to introduce world-class hairstyling to the Caribbean.
We are seeking an exceptional Hairstylist specialising in blow-drying, blowouts, styling, and precision cuts to join our founding team. This is a career-defining opportunity to represent a brand Canadians already know and trust, while shaping the standards of luxury hairstyling in one of the world’s most desirable destinations.
From effortless blowouts and polished cuts to event and evening looks for special occasions and dinners, you’ll deliver styling that blends Blowdry Lounge’s artistry with Meraki’s luxury wellness ethos.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver blow-drying, blowouts, precision cuts, and event/evening styling.
• Conduct personalised consultations and provide tailored aftercare advice.
• Uphold Forbes Five-Star standards in service, hygiene, and presentation.
• Support the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked workstation.
• Collaborate with spa and beauty colleagues to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years’ experience in a luxury Five-Star, Forbes spa/salon, or premium beauty environment.
• Certified hairstyling qualification.
• Expertise in blowouts, styling, and precision cutting across hair types.
• Strong product knowledge and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and SOP implementation.
• Makeup artistry experience is an advantage.
• Portfolio of previous work required at interview.
• Fluent in English
Compensation & Benefits:
• Base Salary: USD $36,000 per annum
• Gratuities: 15% on treatments
• Commission on Retail: 10% on product sales
• Commission on Services: Target-led structure
• Quarterly Incentives for retail performance
• On-Target Earnings (OTE): USD $70,000–$80,000 per annum
