Role Overview:
The Massage Therapist is responsible for delivering professional therapeutic and relaxation massage treatments in accordance with company standards, health regulations, and client care protocols. The role requires technical competence, client-focused service, and strict adherence to hygiene and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Core Treatment Duties:
Perform a range of massage therapies (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, aromatherapy):
Conduct client consultations and assess contraindications prior to treatment:
Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs:
Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes:
Product & Equipment Management:
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure professional presentation standards:
Monitor and replenish oils, linens, and consumables:
Conduct stock taking and report low inventory levels:
Ensure equipment is cleaned, sanitised, and maintained:
Client Care & Professional Standards:
Provide aftercare advice and recommend appropriate retail products where applicable:
Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times:
Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations:
Operational Support:
Assist with rota coordination and appointment scheduling where required:
Support budgeting awareness by minimizing product waste:
