Job Description:

    Administer massage techniques
    Maintain records of treatments given
    Explain procedures, risks and benefits to clients
    Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body
    Apply finger and hand pressure to specific points of the body
    Establish the health check with the client



Requirements:

- Education: Completion of an 18- to 24-month or 18- to 36-month program in massage therapy from an accredited school or in a related discipline is required.

- At least 2 years of experience or supervised practical training are required.

- Massage techniques required: Swedish and therapeutic

- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity

Personal Suitability: Interpersonal awareness, Effective interpersonal skills, Values and ethics, Client focus, Accurate, Excellent oral communication

- Languages: French and English are required.



Salary: $55.00 per hour – 30 hours per week.



Important Information: The position requires extended working hours and flexibility in planning; including morning, day, evening, night or weekend hours, as needed. The candidate will work 6 hours a day within the following schedule depending on the needs of the company: Monday to Sunday, between 10h and 20h30. The candidate will be entitled to a weekly rest period of at least 32 consecutive hours.
